MAS 90/200 Manufacturing

The ERP manufacturing software modules for the Sage MAS 90 or 200 give you the ability to create multi-level bills and produce accurate, informative reports detailing bill structures. And when goods are finished, they can be completed to Inventory Management or Sales Order for seamless integration with the distribution system. Additionally, manufactured component items can be completed to other work orders during the ERP manufacturing software process.

Modules

Work Order

See up-to-the-minute, work-in-process information. This module is particularly well suited for companies engaged in assemble-to-order, engineer-to-order or make-to-order processing.

Key Functionality:

  • Work order templates with material information can be defined. Standard work orders can use the information established in a template to speed data entry
  • Examine the cost and scheduling impact of a work order without committing the inventory components
  • You can automatically issue materials when a work order is released, or you can manually issue materials using the Work Order Transaction Entry program
  • Enter up to 100 lines of description for each step of a routing or a work order

Sales Order

Analyze detailed pick, pack, and ship information at your fingertips! With Sales Order, you can identify the package in which each item is shipped, print a packing list, and enter carrier tracking numbers for customer service inquiries.

Key Functionality:

  • The unique dual grid design allows you to select the fields you normally enter data into for your primary grid, with all other fields easily accessible in the secondary grid
  • Large orders shipped over a period of time can be handled easily by issuing new orders against the blanket order to speed shipment and invoice processing
  • Order and order history files can save orders after invoicing, save cancelled orders for “lost sale” analysis, and track sales order history
  • Enter extended item descriptions for inventory items, miscellaneous items, and special items during sales order entry and invoice data entry

Bill of Materials

The Bill of Materials module for Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200 ERP systems allows you to easily create and maintain a detailed bill of the components and miscellaneous charges that make up your finished items and subassembly components. You can produce accurate and informative reports detailing bill structures, component requirements and production history.

Key Functionality:

  • Different versions of a bill can be maintained simultaneously
  • Bills with multiple configurations can be created
  • One bill can contain up to 99 levels
  • Built-in yield and scrap accommodation provides accurate forecasting of material requirements, as well as final output
  • Manufactured products can be recorded into inventory and component materials relieved using this program

Purchase Order

Keep accurate purchasing records by tracking the shipping method, date required, and the name of the person with whom the order was placed.

Key Functionality:

  • Purchase orders can be automatically generated for inventory items when on-hand quantities fall below specified reorder levels
  • Purchase orders can be created for items shipped directly from the vendor to the customer
  • Requests for goods for internal use can be processed with purchase orders, and material requisition orders can be printed
  • Purchase orders can be automatically generated for a selected range of sales orders
  • There are a variety of reporting options available in the Purchase Order module that allow you to analyze variance information, cash requirements, month-end reconciliation, and more

Material Requirements Planning

Eliminate purchasing and scheduling problems and enables more effective purchasing and production planning.

Key Functionality:

  • Warehouse Groups allows you to define one or more groups that are used by the MRP Generation process to consolidate recommendations for material acquisitions
  • The MRP module provides entry for monthly and weekly sales projections by warehouse for each manufactured item, and monthly and weekly sales projections by customer
  • The MRP Job Report details upcoming requirements for components on a bill of materials by job
  • When Sales Order is integrated with MRP, the material on a sales order is recognized as part of the demand for an item during MRP generation

Inventory Management

Know everything about your inventory process from the receipt of goods to movement within or between your locations, sales, removal or disposition of goods and the precise valuation and status of inventoried goods at any point in time with Sage MAS 90 or Sage MAS 200 ERP manufacturing software.

Key Functionality:

  • A separate inventory of each inventory item can be maintained at any number of locations
  • Inventory can be physically counted without interrupting the normal Sales Order Entry process
  • Groups of items priced and sold together can be defined as sales kits
  • Detailed price schedules based upon customer price levels and the quantity sold can be created for each item
