ASI Joins CSIA, Colorado’s Premiere Technology Association
Accounting Systems, Inc. has joined over 440 members and a community of 900 Colorado technology companies in becoming a member of CSIA, Colorado’s leading technology association. CSIA exists to build and grow the success of software, hardware and IT companies, including creating cooperative work relationships and a meetings to share and discuss best practices and insight. The organization also works with government and legislative leaders to protect and advance the state’s technology industries.
CSIA’s largest annual event, the C-Level @ A Mile High, was held in Denver on March 11 and was attended by more than 925 technology professionals. Three of ASI’s team members attended the event, including President Bredt Eggleston.
“We’re grateful to be a part of CSIA because it’s a leader in Colorado IT,” Eggleston said. “If anyone who needs to gather information on technology products and services, this is the place to go. We’re eager to be more involved in the future.”
Chris Devault, Sales Executive, was also in attendance.
“Being heavily involved in CSIA allows us to maintain key relationships with software and IT firms,” Devault said. “The education aspect is important, too. I’m always learning something new at CSIA events.”
CSIA’s next signature event, the 10th annual Apex Awards, is coming up on June 17th and is the “Academy Awards” of technology. Past winners have included IHS, GTRI, ViaWest, Webroot, NewsGator, and many other successful technology companies in Colorado.
CSIA has doubled their membership over the past two years and increased the involvement of influential technology leaders in programs, events, committees, and legislative activities.
“One of the best initiatives a company can do in unsettled economic times is to become involved in their local community. Not only do they learn best practices, meet potential clients and partners, but they show their leadership and support in their industry,” explained Su Hawk, President CSIA. “I believe our growth over the past few years is because people believe, and have seen results, in the power of community and that the Colorado technology industry is an important part our state’s economy.”
