Vendor, Technology Conferences Enhance ASI Team’s Tech Skills, Business Practices

To keep up-to-date on the latest industry information, nearly half of ASI’s employees attended a flurry of conferences across the country in the last month.

At the end of April, sales consultant Patrick Lien kicked off the wave of conferences with Job Ops in Minnesota. Bredt Eggleston, president, then flew to Atlanta April 26 for the ITA, or Information Technology Alliance, to exchange better business practices and benchmarking data with leaders in the IT field.

Then, client relations manager Katie Jo Cordes and technical consultant Diana May attended a Deltek conference in Orlando May 12 – 15 featuring 300 sessions that encompassed training, best practices, case studies, business strategy and networking.

Finally, part of the sales team, Patrick Lien, Jarrod Spivack and Chris Devault, as well as part of the services team, Kate Krueger and Bill Entwistle, attended Sage’s Insights in Nashville. The conference featured multiple business-building and technical learning tracks, along with an expo, trade show, 5K Walk/Run, Lewis Copeland concert and speech by former Baltimore Oriole Cal Ripken, Jr.
