Two ASI Consultants Attend Lean Supply Chain Seminar

Lean Supply Chain Seminar

Two of ASI’s newest consultants, Jennifer Christon and Chris Melson, recently attended the Lean Supply Chains seminar put on by Transformance Advisors and APICS (The Association for Operations Management). The one day seminar provides our consultants with valuable information they need to assist our clients in making their organizations lean.

Attendees of the class learn lean concepts to apply to the entire supply chain from suppliers to customers. In addition, the course highlights how to identify current processes, systems, and cultural behaviors that are raising costs and lowering the level of customer service provided. All of this information comes together to show organizations which changes are required to craft a lean supply chain. Best practices in use at leading companies are taught over the course of the seminar, the day includes exercises to assist students in applying their new knowledge for the first time.
