elope Wins 50 Companies to Watch Award

ASI is proud to congratulate elope inc., a Sage MAS 90 client and wholesale costume accessory designer and manufacturer, on being honored as one of Colorado Biz Magazine’s "50 Colorado Businesses to Watch" in the magazine’s June issue.

The award was given by a panel of independent judges working with the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade. Judgment was based on the companies’ investment in people, technology, infrastructure and community.

Elope (an acronym for “everybody’s laughing on planet earth”) is known for its socially conscious approach to business, which includes fair trade, involvement with fundraising for children’s cancer research and a CARE-certified factory in China that includes onsite dormitories and cafeterias.

“We’re not a huge company - about 35 employees - but when you consider that we’re this small, yet so highly involved in the community, it speaks volumes about our business. It’s such an honor to be recognized for efforts we so firmly believe in and are status quo in how we operate,” said Rhonda Strobel, elope’s Financial Optimist. “We’ve won a lot of awards specific to our products, but this one looked at our efforts and the impact of those efforts – I’m more proud of this than any other award.”
