MAS 90/200 - "GL Bank Code in use by another task" error
Occasionally, benign errors can occur within Sage MAS 90/200 when each step in a process is not completed.
These are simple to fix and not dangerous for the end user to perform. An example of an error like this is the "GL Bank Code in use by another task" error. This error happens whenever a check printing job does not complete. MAS 90 thinks the checks are still being printed when they are not. To correct this error, first make sure that no one is printing checks, and the go to the File drop down menu in the upper left-hand corner. From the drop down menu choose "Run". For the program, enter GLWSKA and then click "OK". Select which bank code you need to clear and click Proceed. Then click exit and you will be able to reprint your checks.
