The Engineering Company Partners with ASI for ERP System Upgrade

Fort Collins, Colo. May 28, 2009 - - The Engineering Company, a Fort Collins-based civil engineering firm, has decided to join with Accounting Systems Inc. to upgrade their Deltek FMS system to Deltek Vision. FMS, their current system is being phased out and will no longer be supported.

 New Age Beverage Goes Mobile with ASI

New Age Beverage, a Colorado-based wholesale beverage distributor, has partnered with ASI to implement bMobileRoute, a tool that automates, streamlines and simplifies all areas of route distribution.

A Sage MAS 90 client of ASI’s for four years, New Age Beverage needed an improved route accounting system. After watching several presentations on similar applications, New Age Beverage decided upon bMobile.

Long time customer of ASI, Buffalo Supply, moved to a hosted environment for their business computing this spring.  ASI originally began working with Buffalo Supply in 2005 to implement SYSPRO in-house.  Since then, much has changed for Buffalo Supply, causing them to reconsider their IT environment and implement a hosted solution.

ASI’s relationship with UQM Technologies began in 2005 when the company first implemented SYSPRO’s Enterprise Resource Planning software. Six years later, UQM turned to ASI once again for an upgrade project, deciding it was time to upgrade to the newest version of SYSPRO and to gain some process improvements with the use of their ERP system by merging two existing companies into one.

The Institute of Business and Medical Careers, an ASI client for six years, will be expanding campuses across Colorado and Wyoming to accommodate record student enrollment rates. Since 2001, IBMC’s enrollment has skyrocketed by 380 percent.

Columbine Health Systems, a local senior care resource and ASI client for almost six years, has recently developed new programs to enhance the comfort of their clients and build community in Fort Collins. The first new program is a Telehealth kiosk designed to monitor patient health indicators from offsite. The resident can simply enter in a variety of health indicators including blood sugar, weight, pulse, and blood pressure. These vitals are then monitored by analysts at an offsite location who are given certain parameters for each patient.

ASI is proud to congratulate elope inc., a Sage MAS 90 client and wholesale costume accessory designer and manufacturer, on being honored as one of Colorado Biz Magazine’s "50 Colorado Businesses to Watch" in the magazine’s June issue.

The award was given by a panel of independent judges working with the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade. Judgment was based on the companies’ investment in people, technology, infrastructure and community.
